What our standard installation includes
The standard installed price combines the charger with a defined installation allowance. This keeps comparison simple and helps avoid a low headline price that bears little resemblance to the final cost.
- Installation of one charger at the agreed location
- Up to [confirm] metres of standard surface-mounted charging cable
- Cable routing across [confirm permitted surfaces/areas]
- One standard wall penetration where required
- Standard electrical protection and isolation required for the selected charger
- Connection to a suitable existing electrical supply, subject to survey
- Electrical testing, charger setup and customer handover
- Electrical certification and relevant network notification
- Travel within standard service coverage
What may be
quoted separately
Some properties need additional work to create a safe, compliant and tidy installation. Where the survey identifies this, we will explain the requirement and confirm the price before booking or installation.
- Cable beyond the standard allowance
- Trenching, lifting and reinstating paving, or other groundworks
- A freestanding mounting post or protective barrier
- Consumer-unit replacement, distribution upgrades or remedial electrical work
- A complex cable route, multiple wall penetrations or work at height
- Landlord, freeholder, parking or third-party permissions
- Additional equipment needed because of the property supply or earthing arrangement
- Abortive attendance where the agreed access or preparation is not available
How the survey
protects your quote
Your online survey gives our team a view of the electricity meter, consumer unit, supply equipment, parking position and proposed charger location. We use it to check the likely route and identify non-standard work before an engineer is allocated.
Clear, well-lit photographs help us confirm the scope quickly. If the information is incomplete or the property has unusual constraints, we may ask for additional photographs, a video survey or a site visit.
Not sure which charger to choose?
Start with the outcome rather than the brand.
Tell us whether your priority is lowest installed cost, solar charging, tariff integration, appearance or company-car compatibility.
We will narrow the choice without pushing unnecessary features.
FAQs
Are the prices shown the final price?
The displayed price is the price for the charger and the defined standard installation. Your survey confirms whether the property fits that allowance. Any additional work is explained and quoted separately.
Can I buy the charger without installation?
This page is designed around a managed installation service. Hardware-only supply may be considered for approved trade or programme partners, but direct customers should use a qualified installation route.
Can I choose a charger that is not shown?
Potentially. The featured range is intentionally curated, but EVC is not limited to one manufacturer. Tell us if a vehicle, scheme, property or technical requirement points to a different product.
Do I need permission to install a charger?
You must have authority to install at the property and parking space. Tenants, leaseholders and drivers using shared or allocated parking may need landlord, freeholder or managing-agent consent.
